Our ladies’ team traveled to Roche yesterday morning for the second game in their Division 2 league. Both teams showcased some fine attacking football, however, St. Kevin’s were more effective with converting their chances. The Kevin’s were quick off the block, racking a 6-point lead in the first ten minutes, with goals from Lucy Sheridan and Mia Duffy, and points from Katie Matthews and Susan Byrne with little response.
The ladies football team had their first league game yesterday morning at home against the Dreadnots. However, Julie Guinan opened up the scoreboard for the Kevin’s, followed by a goal from Susan Byrne, which kept the girl’s nose just ahead.
The U14 team travelled to neighbouring club Ardee St. Mary’s for their final game in group B. The pace was set straight away with Captain Tara Reilly who opened up the scoreboard for St. Kevin’s and Grace King who scored a goal just minutes into the first half.
