NURSERY ACADEMY PRESENTATION

We’d like to thank our nursery mentors, Lorraine Forde, Amanda Treadwell, Noleen Kerley, Ursula Matthews, and Gary Dromgoole (Juvenile Chairperson), whose hard work and dedication throughout the year have made such a massive impact on this squad, and for that, we are forever grateful. To our senior players, a massive thanks for assisting with the final training session and for the presentation for an unforgettable morning for our youngest members.

VITAL DRAW FOR THE U17’S

Spectators in Philipstown were treated to a great display of skills and a highly contested game between St. Kevin’s and Dreadnots last Friday evening. With possession spread evenly between the two teams for the duration of the game, the only difference was the conversion rate. Whilst the Philipstown men had a considerably better conversion rate, as the adage goes, goals win matches and the Dreadnots two goals clinched the draw for them.

U9 BLITZ IN DARVER

Our two U9 teams traveled to Darver Training Centre to take part in their bi-weekly blitz!

Each team had three games a piece. Our Red team played St, Bride’s, The Westerns, and Roche Emmets. Our Black team played Dundalk Gael, Cooley Kickhams, and St. Mary’s.

HIGH SCORING AFFAIR FOR THE U13’S

The U13 team had a fantastic evening of football when they played host to Cooley Kickhams for 7th round of the Division 2 League last night. The Kevin’s were first out of the blocks with Lorcan O’Connor who scored an impressive goal within a minute after the first whistle, Jack Ruane also quick on the mark scored the first of his goals only a minute later.

BRILLIANT FUN AT U11 GAME

Our U11 football team played host to St. Michael’s yesterday evening for a great game of football! Thankfully the weather held off and we hope all the players had a great time! Thank you very much to our referee Johnny Meehan and the coaches on the evening.
