U12 Louth Camogie League Final 2022

St. Kevin’s 5-01 St. Anne’s/Naomh Finbarra- 0-1

Our U12 Camogie team along with their mentors Sarah McArdle and Brian Murray travelled to Stabannon Parnell’s last Saturday afternoon for their league final against St. Anne’s/Naomh Finbarra.  Whilst an early goal from Ada King set the tone for the Kevin’s side, St. Anne’s kept pace with a relatively equal amount of possession throughout. Unfortunately for our competitors our defenders were on top form at all times, and were an impenetrable force intent on preventing any possible scores for St. Anne’s.

Our midfielders and fowards showcased some fantastic phases of play, interspersed with high catching and slick passing leading to scores.

Along with Ada King opening up the scoreboard for the game, scorers were, Jasmine Finlay and Hollie Murray. Jasmine racked up an impressive four goals, taking every opportunity given to hit the back of the net and Hollie Murray after a brilliant run pucked a great ball over the crossbar.

Team List: Florence Grogan, Sienna Landy Hand, Julie Kearney, Niamh Boylan, Lily Johnson, Ada King (1-0), Amy McBride, Jasmine Finlay (4-0), Tara Carroll, Hollie Murray (0-1), Caoimhe Kirwan, Erin Ryan, Erin McCullough, Katie Brennan, Sara Murphy, Robyn Clarke, Anna Cromwell, Leanne Magee, Kelly Sheridan, Clodagh McKenna and Dearbhla Brennan.

We’d like to express a word of thanks to all our players, their mentors Sarah and Brian, family and friends, who dedicate their time and energy to the team and the club, making days like this possible! Full sized photos from the game can be requested from our Facebook page, and after match celebration photos will be posted tomorrow morning! Well done girls!
